Traverse the bridge that binds two worlds: the Real World and the Dream World. While everyone seems normal within reality, in Dreams, they are what they truly are. Some imagine objects never before seen, others open and point the way through the doors that riddle the Dream World, and a handful seem to have strange powers only in this dimension. So come Imagine with us, as we take the first few steps into what could be a world of dreams.

Current Event: Festival of the Hunt Part II: "Oh SNAP, son!"

The Base of Operations devoted to researching the differences between the Real World and Dream World sponsored an event that involved Dreamwalkers competing with each other to take down as many Nightmares as they could in the Real World. It started all right at first, but strange occurrences happened as the days went on: competitors going missing for days and reappearing; higher level Nightmares being freed before they were supposed to; powers actually working. Now the unthinkable's happened; a Nightmare's broken into the Real World, and its existence upsets the already delicate balance between Alamira and the Dreamscape.

Hello! I am Shota - the creator of the forum! I made this site with the help of some good friends! Something more interesting will go here in the future.

10/9 - Site revamp is GO! >w< I've removed the table from the main page and put the pertinent information on the side tables here on the left. More things will be added and changed around soon, so stay tuned!

5/21 - Another new skin, yay! There's also a new Event up for Imaginers, so go check out the Announcements!

4/16 - A new table's been added to the site's Main Page with the essential links and other information, with an extra something. The rightmost box will contain blurbs and observations from NPCs and bystanders about the goings-on in Alamira. Be sure to pay attention to those, because you never know what they might say.

4/13 - Hey, will ya look at this! A new skin for the site, heheheh. It took a bit of work, but it looks nice, don't you think? If not, then don't worry. The other skins don't look anything like this, so you can switch to those just fine. ;P As for the other stuff stated in earlier announcements... we're still working on it. >_> Sit tight!

Be aware that you MUST chose a class. There is no such thing as being without one, although it is possible to not know your class if you have not entered the Dream World or have been tested.

THE.IMAGINER.
One who can imagine objects into existence within the Dream World. Divided into three different levels.
    The Imaginer has the ability to imagine any object into existence, from a box to a house. Often times, these people have an extremely creative thought process and can think on the fly. Certain objects cannot be created, such as ney and substances.

THE.CREATION.PROCESS.
« An Imaginer must understand the full components of his imagined object in order to form it 'perfectly.' This is to say that they must be able to know the functions of every mechanical device within a television if they were to try and imagine one into existence within the Dream World without error. Otherwise the imagined object will not be perfect. Note that this still means they could create something they know little about however the object would not be 'perfectly' formed and may sport many natural errors within it or function incorrectly or only be partially formed.

« When an object is formed -said creation will 'appear' into existence within the Dream World wherever our Imaginer should imagine the object to appear. This is limited to our user's sight and within said distance.

« Imaginers can imagine things out of existence however they will never truly be just that. Said object of imagination might just become invisible for a time but they can only 'delete' something of their own creation.

« In addition to sustenance and currency, the only other thing they canNOT imagine are doorways, portals, or otherwise random passageways within the Dream World that might lead to somewhere else. They CAN create a door. But it'd be just that: a door frame leading to no where in particular than where they already are.

« Understand, that while they CAN'T make nutritional food from their imaginations. They can still create food. This food will do them no good in terms of substance; you will still be hungry if you were hungry before. It is a 'phantom food' of memory or factual understanding. There was no real effort put into creating it though. If Alamaria could create food and nutrients already and bring them out of the Dream World we wouldn't be in such a situation. But imagined things brought out into the Real World deteriorate in time and as such there are just certain things that can never be perfectly formed. A good Imaginer might be able to create ice cream and make it taste like steak.

THE.NAVIGATOR.
One who can navigate and map the Dream World. Divided into three different levels.
    The Navigator is never lost within the Dream World and can tell where each door leads, open these doors to these locations, and can even sense where danger lurks. They are able to chart courses, identify objects, and guide people through the Dream World. They also record the history of and all information about the Dream World. Navigators are immune to magic, and cannot have powers of their own.

GUIDING.PROCESS.
« Navigators are all different as much as how people process things differently throughout and thus: when gaining the information of where exactly they are, it can happen in a number of ways. A 3-D map rendering could become apparent in their head, some might not understand until they draw it out, others could go with 'gut' instincts but all forms of obtaining this new knowledge can only be possible once they step foot within the domain of the Dream World.

« When attacked: Navigators have several choices in how damage is dealt to them. If the object or ability or attack aimed at them was of the 'imagined' or Dream World variety, then there will be no effect to their HEALTH. They might however still sustain damage to their clothing or any articles by chance with them. If the weapon they are attacked with was brought from the Real World to the Dream? Then they will sustain natural damage.

« Note that while a Navigator can sense danger - this is only in terms of the 'setting' or surroundings around them. They cannot sense a Nightmare, they cannot sense danger within their own team or coming at them. They will merely be able to tell if a part of the Dream World they are in is about to change for better or for worse.

THE.FIGHTER.
One who can use powers within the Dream World. Divided into three different levels.
    The Fighter battles creations that have become lost in the Dream World. They are usually skilled in combat. Some Fighters have weapons and others have almost magical powers, but they cannot create or imagine anything. This means that a Fighter cannot shoot fireballs without a source, because they would have to create fire.

FIGHTING.PROCESS.
« Fighters range in a variety of fields and categories where powers or weapons are concerned and are not limited to just offensive abilities in the least. They sometimes carry supportive abilities or even just defensive capabilities but always they are the ones with the power to 'fight back.'

« Seeing as how they are NOT Imaginers, it is noted that Fighters powers cannot 'create' from anything. They can't form things out of nowhere so much as manipulate what is already available to them. A pyrokinetic cannot create fire. But they can strengthen, manipulate or weaken the flames that were already there at the start.

« Giving a WEAPON to any of the other 'people' of a group from the Dream World does not make them Fighters. Fighters were born for their weapons and can use them to the fullest and all extremes.

THE.NIGHTMARE.
one who was at some point in time 'imagined/dreamed/thought up/created' into the Dream World by unknown means. Divided into three different levels.
    The Nightmare is generally a creature of unknown, exact origin with just as unlikely known of nature or power. They are numerous in amount and while some may carry very human characteristics, they are nothing more than dreams or desires a person had at one point in time. Due to fear, due to loss, due to inspiration or due to anger. A generous amount of these beings are monstrous and without reason, the only sound goal they share as a unit is: to become real; to be let free.

HAVING.THE.BAD.DREAM.
« Normal Nightmares are feral and without real purpose or notion or memory. They are like children because they were just born into the world without a reason to be taught how to truly 'be.'

« They follow the forethought: 'If you do not believe in them they will not be real.' Thus the Nightmare would thrive on whatever emotion/conflict/imagination they were originally created with if another was to truly believe in it. Do not let this make you believe you can deflect an attack by them by simply believing with all your heart that you should be safe. This isn't Wonderland. And Nightmares CAN hurt you.

« Nightmares CAN exit the Dream World and hide themselves among the human realm. The longer and more they are associated with as a human, the more human they would become. 'Creating' a new being by the experiences they lead.
