Traverse the bridge that binds two worlds: the Real World and the Dream World. While everyone seems normal within reality, in Dreams, they are what they truly are. Current Event: Festival of the Hunt Part II: "Oh SNAP, son!"

The Base of Operations devoted to researching the differences between the Real World and Dream World sponsored an event that involved Dreamwalkers competing with each other to take down as many Nightmares as they could in the Real World. It started all right at first, but strange occurrences happened as the days went on: competitors going missing for days and reappearing; higher level Nightmares being freed before they were supposed to; powers actually working. Now the unthinkable's happened; a Nightmare's broken into the Real World, and its existence upsets the already delicate balance between Alamira and the Dreamscape.

Hello! I am Shota - the creator of the forum! I made this site with the help of some good friends! Something more interesting will go here in the future.

10/9 - Site revamp is GO! >w< I've removed the table from the main page and put the pertinent information on the side tables here on the left. More things will be added and changed around soon, so stay tuned!

5/21 - Another new skin, yay! There's also a new Event up for Imaginers, so go check out the Announcements!

4/16 - A new table's been added to the site's Main Page with the essential links and other information, with an extra something. The rightmost box will contain blurbs and observations from NPCs and bystanders about the goings-on in Alamira. Be sure to pay attention to those, because you never know what they might say.

4/13 - Hey, will ya look at this! A new skin for the site, heheheh. It took a bit of work, but it looks nice, don't you think? If not, then don't worry. The other skins don't look anything like this, so you can switch to those just fine. ;P As for the other stuff stated in earlier announcements... we're still working on it. >_> Sit tight!

Like 99% of roleplay sites, we have rules. They are meant to be followed, and are not here to hinder your fun so much as allow you to have it without much trouble. Following the rules is easy, you just have to remember the most important one:
» Do not do anything that prevents other people from enjoying themselves.

To be more specific:

» Follow the Proboards Terms of Service. If you're not familiar with that, go read it. Thoroughly. Here's a link.

» No trolling, harrassing, flaming, bullying, drama instigating, excessive swearing, etc.

» Please use proper English. This means appropriate usage of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. We do understand that no one is perfect, and quite a few roleplayers have English as a second language, so try your best.

» Leave the staff duties to the staff, and direct a member needing staff help to the proper admins (or have them message us). The help is appreciated, of course, but if it's not something you can solve, don't pretend it is.

» Icons should be 100x100 and signatures should not be larger than 500x300. We need to avoid page stretching whenever possible.
• All graphics must not contain nudity or explicit content. We're PG-13. Remember that.

» No spamming ~~spam=nasty. don't eat that stuff~~ or double+ posting in the forums. The edit button is your friend.

» Privately message the admin or other staff about any problems that persist. The key word here being persist. See if you can sort it out between yourselves first, 'kay?
• The complaint has to be valid. We will not take action against one person just because they annoyed you for the first time and/or you just don't like them over something trivial. They have to have broken a rule, in which case you cite it with some proof (screenshots usually).

» No plagiarizing allowed. Don't take character stats directly from manga/anime/games, and don't steal another person's writing and call it your own. That's ticket to Deletion Central right there.

» Don't pester people to roleplay with you or do anything against their will. They might be busy in other threads or trying to juggle real life issues.
• Some roleplayers have more than one site to spend their time on, we know, but don't lie about it. Be mature, and don't use "Real Life" as an excuse when you're really someplace else.

» This site is APC -- one account per character. If you want another, re-register under a different username.
• When creating an account, the username can be anything but the display name must be the character's full name, first and last. Nightmares may have a single name to them, but this shouldn't apply to the others.

» There's no word count, but it doesn't mean we have no standards. Post enough to have your partner respond to.

» The roleplay is Liquid Time, but if it becomes too much for you, get together with your partners and decide on which thread must finished or paused before continuing.

» Your first character is free, but it'll take twenty posts with each character you have before you can create the next one. Don't make a character just to leave them inactive-- it affects profile approval later down the line.

» Don't alter the profile template in any way aside from filling in the fields and erasing the explanatory notes. You'll wreck it nine times out of ten. ~~Ask me about blockquotes-- I DARE you!~~

» Do not god-mode, powerplay, or metagame. Godmoding is roleplaying your character as more powerful than anything, ever. Powerplaying is controlling other peoples' characters. Metagaming is playing your character having Out of Character knowledge that they logically shouldn't have. DON'T DO IT. IT'S BAD JOOJOO.

» Do not make a character whose past directly conflicts with the site's storyline, and don't try create a character with a class not listed.

» For the Smartasses: The two rules above essentially mean 'No Mary Sues or Gary Stus'. We don't accept 'Flawed Diamonds' either, so don't put glaring and nonsensical-flaws, non-flaws, or barely-there-flaws on your otherwise-idealized character then say "it's okay, they're not Mary Sues". The flaws have to work with the character and the story to make them interesting without breaking the 'no godmoding/powerplaying rule'.

» No 'Anti-Sues' either. Slapping a whole bunch of flaws on a character with no redeeming qualities does not an interesting character make. If they're gonna suck, have them suck with some panache.
