- - welcome!

Traverse the bridge that binds two worlds: the Real World and the Dream World. While everyone seems normal within reality, in Dreams, they are what they truly are. Some imagine objects never before seen, others open and point the way through the doors that riddle the Dream World, and a handful seem to have strange powers only in this dimension. So come Imagine with us, as we take the first few steps into what could be a world of dreams.

Current Event: Festival of the Hunt Part II: "Oh SNAP, son!"

The Base of Operations devoted to researching the differences between the Real World and Dream World sponsored an event that involved Dreamwalkers competing with each other to take down as many Nightmares as they could in the Real World. It started all right at first, but strange occurrences happened as the days went on: competitors going missing for days and reappearing; higher level Nightmares being freed before they were supposed to; powers actually working. Now the unthinkable's happened; a Nightmare's broken into the Real World, and its existence upsets the already delicate balance between Alamira and the Dreamscape.

- - your staff!

Shota
Hello! I am Shota - the creator of the forum! I made this site with the help of some good friends! Something more interesting will go here in the future.

Morgan
I'm Morgan-- one of the staff, obviously. You'll mostly find me in the Cbox, chatting it up with the members or answering their questions. Other times I'll be replying to threads (and my character won't be hard to miss ;P). Uh, maybe I should leave the rest of this space for someone else to talk... >////>

Rikka
Hey, you! SMILE AND SAY CHEESE~! -lifts camera and snaps a picture- Mwahahaha! >3

- - something's up!

"What, the commotion outside? Turns out a nightmare just burst out of thin air and people are trying to stop it from wrecking the town. No big deal, pretty sure we can fix that. It'll take a while, though."

- - updates!

10/9 - Site revamp is GO! >w< I've removed the table from the main page and put the pertinent information on the side tables here on the left. More things will be added and changed around soon, so stay tuned!

5/21 - Another new skin, yay! There's also a new Event up for Imaginers, so go check out the Announcements!

4/16 - A new table's been added to the site's Main Page with the essential links and other information, with an extra something. The rightmost box will contain blurbs and observations from NPCs and bystanders about the goings-on in Alamira. Be sure to pay attention to those, because you never know what they might say.

4/13 - Hey, will ya look at this! A new skin for the site, heheheh. It took a bit of work, but it looks nice, don't you think? If not, then don't worry. The other skins don't look anything like this, so you can switch to those just fine. ;P As for the other stuff stated in earlier announcements... we're still working on it. >_> Sit tight!

Each class is divided into levels: three, to be exact. Each level varies in power, strength, and cunning for each class. Note that levels are how the Base and the Contract Cafe categorize Classes; however, there tends to even be a gap between those in the same level, as if they are inefficient in explaining the variety of power that exists between all people.

» IMAGINER
The Imaginer's level is based upon how many 'perfect' creations they can create: these creations function accordingly, their appearance is exactly as the Imaginer wants them to look, and they do not crumble away over time. Note that it is possible to create "semi-perfect" creations, or objects that meet only some of the criteria (either half-way or completely). Please be realistic! A first-time Imaginer isn't going to know how to make all their creations semi-perfect, while someone who has been a level one for a few months might know a hand-full of them.

    level.one
The Imaginer can create two perfect creations.

    level.two
The Imaginer can create five perfect creations.

    level.three
The Imaginer can create nine perfect creations.

You can purchase perfect creations in the Shop.
You'll level automatically after reaching that certain number of perfect creations.

» NAVIGATOR
The Navigator's level is based upon how far they can chart a course into the Dream World. It is possible for a Navigator to sense a little bit more or a little bit less than the actual level amount, but note that the Base often holds regular tests to make sure that Navigators are on par with the level they are supposed to be at. Note that the rooms the Navigator can sense ahead of them have to be clear and concise - it is possible to only sense half of a room, or only a few features of it.

    level.one
The Navigator can navigate up to one room ahead.

    level.two
The Navigator can navigate up to three rooms ahead.

    level.three
The Navigator can navigate up to seven rooms ahead.

You can purchase rooms in the Shop.
You'll level automatically after reaching that certain number of rooms.

» FIGHTER
The leveling system for Fighters tends to be very...relative. It's difficult to judge if a Fighter has truly developed a new branch in their power, or just found a new way to control one they already have. As such, Fighters tend to often lie about what level they are and what number of branches they have, as they disagree with the Bases' interpretation of their abilities. Level two and three Fighters tend to have more powers with multiple branches, but sometimes, a Fighter may just have one power that is very developed.

    level.one
A Fighter can use three branches of a power.

    level.two
A Fighter can use five branches of two powers.

    level.three
A Fighter can use nine branches of three powers.

» NIGHTMARE
Nightmares, strangely, are categorized much in the same way that Fighters are, probably because the two are structured similarly through their powers within the Dream World. However, unlike Fighters who must train in combat in order to advance, Nightmares can advance just by being believed in. The more someone believes that a Nightmare is strong, the stronger they can become. It does not work this way for all Nightmares, but it is not uncommon.

    level.one
A Nightmare can use three branches of a power.

    level.two
A Nightmare can use five branches of two powers.

    level.three
A Nightmare can use nine branches of three powers.

Navigators and Fighters can purchase branches from the Shop. You'll level after reaching that certain number of branches. You will be allowed to create a new power with the level-up branch you purchase (and place that branch under that power if you so choose).

P.S.!! While most people usually gain levels, it is also possible to DROP in levels! If an Imaginer fails to create an object for some time, for example, they WILL fall out of practice, and as such, may "forget" how to make the creation perfectly.
