» POSITIVE✧ courageous. Simon goes into everything without fear. He thinks that fear is a needless emotion because whatever is going to happen, regardless of if you're scared or not, is going to happen, so there is no reason to fear it. You should just enjoy whatever it is you're doing, because if you fear it, in the end it will be just that much worse.
✧ cheerful. Simon likes to always wear a smile on his face. Even when things turn sour, he still tries to keep a cheerful attitude. He likes to be happy, and when he seems someone else being grumpy he'll try to turn their frown upside down because to him, anything negative is annoying.
✧ curious. Simon is very curious about everything he doesn't know about. Whether it be that he's listening in on some private conversation or just discovering something that he had never seen or heard of before. He doesn't like guessing about things, so, if he wants to find out about something, he will follow any leads that anyone gives him.
✧ social. Simon likes socializing with anyone and everyone. He doesn't care who you are, if you'll listen to him, he'll talk to you. He definitely knows how to have a one person conversation, having so much to say that the other party won't speak a word. He's definitely one of those people that can talk your ear off if you let him.
✧ devoted. Once Simon gets into something, it's most likely that he won't quit. He doesn't like giving up on things and thinks if you start something that you absolutely, most definitely have to finish it. If it's left unfinished, then it's always sitting there, nagging at the back of your mind, saying finish me, finish me, so Simon always makes sure to finish anything he's started.
» NEGATIVE✦ dishonest. Simon doesn't like the telling the truth. He thinks the truth is a cold, hard dose of reality and he hates it, so he tells lies and only lies. Lying is a way to get away from reality, so if lying helps him get away from the world, he'll always do it. Simon does know how to tell the truth, but he only will if the situation absolutely depends on it.
✦ overly trusting. Even though nearly every word he says is a lie, Simon finds it in his heart to trust everyone no matter who they are. A complete stranger could walk up to him and he would believe what they say no matter how farfetched it sounds. He feels that if he trusts others, others will trust him even though all he speaks are lies, lies, and more lies.
✦ arrogant. Simon thinks that he is the best in everything and at everything. He thinks he has the most charming, good looks, and the best of everything else. Anything and everything. If it's possible to have a competition over it, Simon thinks that he could automatically win.
✦ envious. Simon gets jealous really easily. It could be something as silly as he sees someone talking to someone else that he wants to talk to. But, it can also be really deep like the jealousy he feels towards his siblings since they got the love from their mother that he didn't get. Regardless, though, Simon is the kind of person that is easily jealous over things that range from petty to those other serious things.
✦ klutz. Anything that lays on the ground, even flat ground, if it’s there, Simon is bound to trip over it. Balance is one thing that this boy definitely doesn’t have and probably won’t ever have. Sometimes he'll make fun of himself when he trips in order to gets laughs out of other people and pretend that he did it all on accident. In all honesty, though, Simon is definitely and all around klutz.
» LIKES✓ telling stories. Telling stories is probably Simon's favorite thing to do. He likes to spurt out fake stories of his past, things that are unbelievable, but he keeps one story going on for so long, that he himself starts to believe his own lies. He believes that his story telling makes his boring past more fun and lively and that if he just told the truth everything in life would be spiceless.
✓ running. The feel of his feet clad in shoes pounding against the ground, muscles burning in his legs, and wind whipping against his face and whistling past his ears; Simon lives for that feeling. Being able to live in an open space where you have miles to run without being stopped or having to turn around makes the boy happy and gives him a sense of freedom. Whenever he has things to think about or is just completely bored out of his mind, Simon will take a jog and everything will be better to him.
✓ a crowd. Simon loves to be surrounded by other people. As long as there are others around, he has people to talk to and play around with, and tell his little stories to. Simon is definitely not shy, so as long as there are many people around, he’ll find endless fun and entertainment.
✓ sun. Simon loves the the warmth of the sun against his skin. He also loves the way the sun warms the ground and the way it casts shadows. He knows that without the sun, the world would be cold, and since he hates the cold, he has another reason to love the sun.
✓ stuffed animals. Simon absolutely loves stuffed animals. Well, not even just stuffed animals, but all stuffed things alike. He thinks they're just the cutest things ever andlike a little kidhe has to play with one whenever one comes into his sight.
» DISLIKES✕ rules. In Simon's mind, rules are meant to be broken. If there ever comes a time where rules are placed on his shoulders, he definitely won't follow them. It’s not like he’ll purposely break them, he’ll just live his life acting as if they aren’t there. He does what he wants to do, and if there happens to be a rule against it, he just won’t care and he’ll go about his life like it isn’t there. Unless he gets in trouble for it, but that's a whole different story...
✕ being told what to do. Simon hates any sort of authority figure and he especially hates being told what to do. Whenever anyone thinks that they can boss him around, he completely ignores them, and if it's someone telling him to do something, if he's so overly annoyed with them, he'll do the exact opposite of what they're asking. Though, when he's in a good mood, he might just listen to them so they get off his back, usually, though, he just ignores any commands and goes on with what he was doing.
✕ cold weather. When winter rolls around, Simon starts to dread the days. The sun is hidden behind clouds for most of the day, and even when it isn't, the air around him is still chilly. Cold weather manages to ruin all the fun he has on a normal day, and makes him want to crawl into a hole until everything passes and the sun is shining at it's brightest and warmest once again.
✕ silence. When everything goes silent, Simon knows that it's time to make some noise. Even when he is by himself, he can't stand the silence. So, whether it be talking to himself or just making random noises, Simon makes sure that it is never silent around him. And when he gets around other people, even random ones he doesn't know, he'll start a conversation just so the silence ceases to exist.
✕ fighting. One of the things Simon dislikes the most is fighting. He doesn't really understand why everyone can't get along and just be happy. He thinks that a world with no rules, no authority, and just plain friendship is the way everything should work. And, if arguments do take place, he thinks that they should be solved with words not needless fighting.

» LEVEL • One.
» ITEMS
• parachute. Well, not literally a parachute. Parachute is Simon's rag doll thing that also doubles as a small backpack. It simple, really. The doll has a round head, half is white, while the other half is a dark green, with stitches separating the two colors. The right side is white and has a black button for the eye, while the left, green side, has a black cloth eye. The left arm and the right leg also have the same green as well as the stitches that separate it from the mostly white body. When Simon was younger hevery poorlystitched a red heart onto the right side of the body. The black straps are attached from the shoulders of the doll down to the butt area. The thing is really worn and torn, but it gets the job done, carrying around all the little items that Simon needs at all times, as well as his money. Parachute is also very special to him because his father gave it to him before he passed away when Simon was ten.
» POWER• stuffed dog. The first thing that he can create perfectly is a stuffed dog. The materials are simple (fabric, thread, buttons, and fluff) and so is the making process (the sewing it together and whatnot). When he was younger, this was the creation his father taught him how to make in the real world. That's why he believes that it's the only stuffed creature that he has been able to master creating. Though it really has no purpose, he still enjoys creating these because they're just so fluffy and cute and perfect to snuggle with, especially when you have a bunch of them!
• ink pen. Simon has taken and put together pens so many times that he has every aspect of the pen memorized. He knows exactly what he needs to make it and where those items need to be placed. While he’s an imaginer and doesn’t really have a use for a pen in the Dream World, if he’s with a Navigator and they need to map something and don’t have anything to use, he can imagine a pen and they’re out of that pinch.

» FAMILY• Daniel Butler, father. Even though Daniel passed away, he is the only important family member to Simon. He was always there for him whenever Simon needed him and he was always kind and caring. Of course there were always those parent child arguments, but none of those are worth mentioning. Simon's mother, on the other hand, was never there for Simon, so it was always Daniel that he could hang around. He died when Simon was ten and he never really got over the death of his father, but even now, Simon can depend on him, or his memory of him rather, than his mother who is alive and healthy.
» BIRTHDAY • July 31
» HISTORY •"I grew up lost and alone in this world with no one to show me what’s right or what’s wrong! I was an only child and my father passed away when I was young and my evil witch of a mother decided it was alright to leave me in the woods all by myself! But no! That didn’t stop me! I didn't let it get me down! I was just a child but I was still determined to survive! I found food and shelter for myself, until I grew up enough to start attending school, as well as getting a job so I could have somewhere to live and money for food. Of course when I entered the Dream World, I already had the most amazing powers ever, but that’s a given."
Or that's the story that he'd tell everyone, at least. Of course, though, that isn’t how it happened.
Simon grew up the youngest of four children. All of his siblings were way older than him, the closest one in age being ten years older, so he basically was raised an only child. His mother wasn’t necessarily mean to him, but she was an older woman and no longer had the patience it took to care for a young child, so he didn’t really get attached to her the same way most children get attached to their mothers. Instead, he looked for comfort in his father, who was a kind man with a gentle smile. Simon was okay with his father giving him enough attention for both parents.
Simon grew up like a normal child—going to daycare while his parents worked, coming home afterwards, and playing with all of his millions of toys. He started going to school at the normal age, but since he knew nothing about what class he was in, he couldn’t take any specialty courses.
But, when he was eight, his father decided to take him into the Dream World so that Simon could see what it was all about. They took along two of his father’s friends, a Fighter and a Navigator, since his father was an Imaginer and they set off for the Dream World. Nothing really interesting happened except for the fact that he found out what he was: an Imaginer. It was an accident really. Everything was all new and scary and he just really, reallyreallywanted a stuffed animal. Then one popped up at his feet. It was pretty creepy as well, being all deformed and shapeless, but it was still a stuffed animal and he was happy that he got to follow in his father’s footsteps as an Imaginer.
He learned about his abilities from his father and from the school’s courses and he had a fun time learning about them. He had only made that one visit to the Dream World, though. He decided that it was best not to go back until he learned more about what it was to be an Imaginer. He felt that he was at a good start, with all the help that he had been receiving.
When Simon was ten years old, his father died. The man had recently been diagnosed with cancer, but it was too late to do anything about it. Simon was devastated, but there was really nothing he could do about it. So, he went on with his life. Simon’s mother tried to talk him out of taking the courses that he was at the school, blaming the Dream World for the death of her husband, but he refused. It was a connection with his father that he didn’t want to lose.
A little while after his fifteenth birthday was when Simon decided to go back to the Dream World. He asked the same people who he went with on his first journey there, and they agreed to take him back. This time when he actually tried to create the stuffed animal, it came out a little less deformed and it actually looked like a little puppy—just without an eye and one of it’s legs…and it’s tail. But, it looked like a puppy nonetheless. He was proud at his progress, no matter how little it was.
Now, he does his best at studying all about being an Imaginer and he hopes that if there is some sort of afterlife, that his father is watching him proudly from wherever it is.

» SECRETS • Even though Simon would never voice this out loud, he always wished that his mother would have been the one to pass away instead of his father because his father always cared for him more than his mother did.
