Hello! Before I wanted to join I wanted to know a few things, to get myself straight.
1. You said Alamara wasn't Earth, but had Earth like similarities. What about comic book heros? I have a character that I recently created and before I knew of this site, I had him as a comic book nerd. That's one of his big trade marks so I wanted to know if that's in Alamara? If not, is there 'knock off' heros in the sense that they're made up and not use actual Marvel or DC characters?
2. When imagining things, is it possible to imagine 'living creatures'? Like small rodents or something. I was just curious because my friend who wants to join likes non-human roleplays as well so yeah...
3. If you brake a rule, are there any 'strikes'? Like, 1 warning, 2 warnings, 3 times your out? What if it's accidental?
4. Are there any limits on your population sidebar thing? Like, a certain amount of Imaginers, males, females, etc?
And I think that's it. I don't know where the chat box thing is becuase I'm not a member yet so that's why I made a thread. I hope it wasn't to many questions. Anyways, I can't wait to edit my character some more so he fits this rp ;3 It looks really interesting so I do want to join.

1. Comic Books and comic book heroes do exist in Alamira, but they're knock-offs, as you said. You can describe the characters, but their names can't be the same as the appropriate Marvel or DC characters. Since this is "like Earth", the concept of the superhero character would've come up at some point-- someone was bound to make a superhero from another planet that flies and has heat vision and is allergic to a radioactive rock-- but there's every chance that an artist could've gone with a different name for them than in our reality.
If anything, the biggest deal about comic books in Alamira is the fact that since technically everyone has a power, someone is actually able to replicate what their fictional idol can do. Your character could be a geek for the stuff, but is the media popular or not? Does the character idolize anyone that acts like their favorite character does, or shares their power? That's up to you.
2. It's possible for an Imaginer to create a living creature, but the Imaginer has to have a thorough understanding of biology to make sure that the living being in particular isn't missing their organs or blood or bones, etc. Technically a Nightmare is a living being, with the bonus of A) not needing to be created by an Imaginer, or even one person in general, and B) covering all sorts of animals/creatures/nonhumans you can think of, so perhaps your friend can try that?
3. Whether "you're out" depends on how important the rule is and to what degree it's broken. If it was an accident, you'll just be told how to do things right next time. If it was on purpose, the admin will be less nice about it.
4. No limits. The more the merrier.
;3 There, hopefully I've answered all your questions well. Thanks for being interested in the site!
